Meet our Team

Peter G. Guénard, CFP, CHS, GBA, EPC

 

Peter has over 30 years of direct experience in the insurance, investment, corporate benefits, and pension industry. He is constantly upgrading his knowledge of changes in both the industry and technology. He has the gift of making something complicated simple. He also enjoys volunteering for the Salvation Army kettle drive, serves as a captain for the Heart & Stroke organization, and supports other community organizations.

 

Peter enjoys riding motorcycles, collecting fine wines. He sometimes likes playing the guitar until his friends ask him to stop.

Jessica Guenard-Valiquette, B.A.

 

Since 2003, Jessica has added her many years of service, management, and administrative experience to the Abacus Group Team. After graduating from Laurentian university’s BA Program.

 

Jessica brings a strong background in financial services – especially her work in the insurance industry. Her mix of marketing, HR and technology skills significantly augment our diversity.

Pink "Pinky" Therrien

 

Pinky is responsible for all administrative duties for Abacus. Originally from the Philippines, she was a former retail distribution business owner. She also worked in child care for nine years in Hong Kong. Immigrating to Canada over 14 years ago, she had worked in office maintenance.
